First up. 38 seconds of new traversal gameplay in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Square Enix released the video highlighting how Lara will explore in the newest Tomb Raider.
You will see her swing from vines and ropes, jump around unstable structures, use her grappling hook and rappel and climb mountains.
Next up we have the city of Paititi, the largest hub ever in a Tomb Raider game.
Paititi is a new social space with traders and NPCs where you’ll be able to buy crafting materials, new outfits and weapons.
It will also be a place to take on new quests and side quests.
The hub leads to tombs and hidden crypts, similar to the way the hub in Rise of the Tomb Raider did.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider also has 3 separate difficulty levels that you can adjust independently.
You can set exploration to hard to remove the white markers on walls that indicate where to climb, really making this an exploration game where you have to explore.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider releases 14th of September for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
48 Hour Early Access is given as a pre-purchase bonus to the Digital Deluxe and Croft editions of the game.
